Violet Ann (Zannella) Scungio
70, of Providence, passed away on Monday September 8, 2014, at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Scungio, Sr. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Viola (DeRobbio) Zannella. Mrs. Scungio was a court stenographer for the City of Providence for ten years.
Violet is survived by her loving children Raymond J. Scungio, Jr. and his wife Ivone of Providence, and Christine A. Rodriguez and her husband Gerardo of Texas; sister of Delores Mambro of Providence and Ralph O. Zannella of North Providence.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Home Service on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4:00-7:00 p.m.
