of Cranston, passed away in her 92nd year on Saturday, February 21, 2015. She was the loving wife of the late Michael Guglielmo. Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Michele and Maria (Rega) Mariano.
Virginia worked at the former North Safety Equipment for many years before retiring. Her passion and hobby included knitting hats for the Hasbro Children's Hospital Oncology Department as well as for the military veterans at the Veterans Hospital. Our mother, grandmother will always be remembered as a women of courage and strength.
She was the cherished mother of Paula Aiello of Cranston and Elaine Rivelli of North Providence; devoted grandmother of Michael and Stephen Aiello, Peter, William and Paul Rivelli; beloved great-grandmother of Liana, Isabella, Joey, Alana, Jacob, Gianna, Aurora, Ariella, Nicholas and Michael Thomas. She was the dear sister of Michele Mariano and Mary Pagliarini, both of Cranston, Margaret Coccia of East Greenwich and the late Carmela Raviele, Rachel Alviti, Elena Alviti, Rose Malone and Ralph Mariano.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary's Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are FRIDAY MORNING from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.
