VIRGINIA G. (WEST) RUSSELL

78, of Cranston, passed away Monday July 2, 2012. She was the beloved wife of Glenn Russell. Virginia was born in Port Washington, N.Y. a daughter of the late Alfred and Ann (Kavanaugh) West. Mrs. Russell graduated from Bayside High School, Bayside, N.Y. She worked in New York City on Wall Street at the New York Stock Exchange and at A.C. Nielsen in the overnight TV ratings department. Mrs. Russell was later employed by American Tourister in Warren, R.I.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Glenn F. Russell Jr. and his fiancAC.e Shirl Gerlach of Barrington, Scott Russell and his wife Pauline of Warren, Keith Russell and his wife Mary-Ellen of East Greenwich, and Sherry Izzi and her husband David of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Scott, Jr., Sarah, Samantha, Joseph, Emma and Patricia of Warren and Emily and Matthew of East Greenwich. She was the sister of Ann Adamchik and her late husband William of Manorville, N.Y. and Alfred West and his wife Dolores of Coral Springs, FL. She is also survived by ten nieces and nephews; and was an aunt to a late nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Saturday at 9 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by interment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday 4-8 p.m.
