VIRGINIA D. (WILSON) UVA
81, passed away Wednesday May 16, 2012. She was the wife of the late Alexander Uva.
Born in Providence she was the daughter of the late Eric J. and Virginia (Guarino) Wilson.
Mrs. Uva was employed by the former Mine Safety Appliance of Providence in quality control for 30 years until retiring in 1993.
She is survived by her children Kathleen M. Rossoni and her husband Patrick and Elaine D. Willard all of Johnston; her grandchildren Michael and his wife Lisa, Eric and his wife Margaret and Alexandra; her great granddaughters Tessa and Emma, she was the sister of John E. Wilson of Johnston.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 8:30am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church Johnston at 9:30am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Church Food Closet 1804 Atwood Ave. Johnston, RI 02919.
