Vito A. DiPaola

82, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Maria (Conte) DiPaola.  Born in Cerreto Sannita, Italy, he was the son of the late Luigi and Concetta (Gismondi) DiPaola.

Vito worked at Vargas Manufacturing and Uncas for 35 years before retiring in 2000.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving children, Luigi DiPaola of Cranston, Anna Umberto and her husband Louis of Cranston; cherished grandchildren Victoria DiPaola, Dina Umberto, Brandon DiPaola, and Louis Umberto; dear brother Albino DiPaola and his wife Dolores of Cranston.  He was the brother of the late Maria Pelosi.

His funeral will be held on Monday at 8 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston.  Entombment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery Mausoleum, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 - 8 p.m.
