92, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Lucy (Renzi) Emma. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Lewis and Mary (Parisi) Emma. Mr. Emma was the owner and operator of Emma Bros. Plumbing and Heating; and he also was a WW II Army veteran.
Besides his wife he is survived by his loving children, Lewis Emma of Cranston, Rosemary Wilbur of Cranston and Diane Jordan of Coventry. He was also the dear brother of Lewis Emma, Sophie Shaw and Josephine Rotella all of Cranston, and cherished grandfather of 2 and great grandfather of 5. Vito was also the brother of the late Anthony and Charles Emma.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Bartholomew's Church, Providence. Burial with military honors will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday 5-7 pm.
