Wayne A. Poccia

49, of Cranston, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. He was the son of Arthur and Elizabeth (Antonaccio) Poccia. Mr. Poccia was an employee for Super Stop & Shop and was formerly employed for Balise Auto Group.  Wayne loved classic muscle cars and owned a 1968 Dodge Charger.

Besides his parents, Wayne is survived by his loving son Kyle Poccia of East Greenwich; he was the brother of Kevin Poccia and his partner Brian Mahar of North Providence, Cheryl Poccia of Cranston and Karen Reed and her husband Steven of Cranston. Wayne was the uncle of Halen and Logan Reed.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday. April 12th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Tuesday April 11th, from 4:00-8:00 p.m.
