William T. "Chilly" Carey

of Cranston, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 5th at RI Hospital.  He was the best friend and husband of Lori A. (Mayberry) Martin.  Born in Fall River, MA, Bill was a son of the late John C. Carey, Sr. and Corinne E. (O’Neil) Carey.  Mr. Carey was a Gas Truck Operator for Shell Oil and Cumberland Farms for many years.  Bill was the loving step-father of Lindsey and Gregory Martin whom he adored.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his siblings, John C. Carey, Jr. and his wife Sharon of Fall River, MA, Edward M. Carey of Swansea, MA, Patricia A. Carey of Fall River, MA, James J. Carey and his wife Kathleen of Fall River, MA, and Paul T. Carey and his wife Catherine of Swansea, MA.  He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, Smith Street, Providence at 10:00 a.m.  VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  Visit NardolilloFH.com for online condolences.
