William J. Chaffee

62, of Hope, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Sandra (Miscolino) Chaffee. Born in Providence, he was the son of Alice (Wall) Chaffee of Cranston and the late George Chaffee. Bill was a self-employed contractor for thirty-five years. He was a member of the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Bill was an extremely ambitious human being. Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughter Robin L. Cassell of Portland, ME. Bill was the cherished grandfather of Jordan Lynn Polhill of Portland, ME. He was the brother of Nancy Chaffee and Claire Chaffee, both of Cranston. His funeral service will be held on Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private.
