William J. "Bill" George

of Cherry St., Warwick, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017.  He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie A. Campanile.  Born in Providence, he was the devoted son of the late William and Esther (Marrocco) George.

Bill was a diesel mechanic and worked at Mack Trucks for many years.

Besides his wife Rosemarie, Bill was the loving stepfather of Renee M. Cavanaugh of Cranston and Anthony J. Campanile of Providence.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Friday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
