53, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2015, surrounded by his loving family. Billy was the beloved husband of Anne M. (Delmonico) Nightingale, owner of Sweet Melissa's Candy. Raised in Foster, he graduated from Ponagansett High School in 1980, and was a son of Virginia (Laiho) Bosco and the late William E. Nightingale, Jr. Billy was also the step-son of the late John Bosco. He was employed at Regan Heating and AC since 1997 as a pipe fitter, AFS, and Electric boat. Billy was an avid sports collector, loved to bowl, and had a great sense of humor.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Christina Pezzolo of CA, Michael Delmonico, Jr. of Cranston, and the late Joseph Conlon, III. Billy leaves his sister Wendy Desrochers and her husband Ronald of CT, and his brother Brad Carlton and his wife Barbara of Foster. He also leaves behind grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and lots of loving friends.
His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m. VISITING HOURS are Wednesday MORNING from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 1210 Pontiac Ave, Cranston, RI 02920.
