William E. Krueger
61, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, May 2, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Calabrese) Krueger and the devoted father of Kelsea A. Krueger of Narragansett and Deanna M. Rossi of Charlestown, MA. Born in Providence and raised in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Alexander and Elaine (Parmeter) Krueger. He also leaves behind a sister, Denise Dehertogh and her husband Kenny and their children Alexandra and Billy Dehertogh all of Cumberland.
Bill was an account executive in the printing industry for over 30 years. Additionally, for the past few summers he was head of security for the Bonnet Shores Beach Club. Bill was a member of the Lafayette Lodge # 47 in Cumberland RI and served as a Master of the Lodge from 1980-1981. He played high school football and was named All State in 1969. He, along with his team, were inducted into the Rhode Island Interscholastic League Hall of Fame in 2009. Bill was a graduate of Bryant College and also attended the University of Rhode Island where he played college football. He had many interests throughout his life. He was the former President of the Bretton Woods Ski team in Bretton Woods, New Hampshire for several years. He enjoyed boating and deep sea fishing and kept his boat for many years at Stone Cove Marina in South Kingstown. His other love was Sunday morning golf with his buddies.
His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 6th at 11 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett. Burial will be private. VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
