William P. Lonardo
52, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Maria (Ferreira) Lonardo. Born in Providence, he was a son of Helen (Perrotti) Lonardo of North Providence and the late William Lonardo.
William worked as an Orthotist and was the owner of a family business, Orthopedic Appliance and Brace Center, which was started by his late father in 1959. William specialized in pediatric bracing, working closely with families from Meeting Street School and Hasbro Children's Hospital Rehabilitation Center.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his loving son, William Anthony Lonardo of Johnston; cherished siblings Richard P. Lonardo and his wife Cheryl of Johnston, Dana M. Loffredo and her husband Joe of Johnston, Paul A. Lonardo and his wife Janice of Lincoln; dear nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Richard, Jr., Nicole, Samantha, and Jake.
Funeral from NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco's Church, Atwood Ave., Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m.
