William A. Quattrucci

William A. Quattrucci

of East Greenwich, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Marie (Ricci) Quattrucci sharing their married life for 49 ½ years.  He was the son of the late Alfred and Carmela (Perrone) Quattrucci; proud  and loving father of Erica and her husband Anthony Napoleoni, Jr., William, Jr. and his wife Christina and Brian and his wife Elizabeth; cherished grandfather of Nicolas, Nathan, Brian II, William III and Mark II; and brother of Alfred, Jr. and Rita Quattrucci.

He was a graduate of East Providence High School; a member of the RI Honor Society; member of 1955 Class Reunion Committee for 60 years; attended Bryant College; and served as Staff Sergeant in the Army National Guard.  William chose a career in the jewelry industry and served on the Board of Directors of Coro Credit Union and Manufacturing Jewelers and Silversmiths of America; he started as a model maker, managed several different companies, a former owner of AKI, Inc., and a bus monitor for Ocean State Transit.

He loved tending to his yard; walking; reading the newspaper from beginning to end and loved watching golf, baseball and football.  His greatest joys were the accomplishments and happiness of his children and the love of his grandchildren.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Saturday, October 28th at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence.  VISITING HOURS are Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
