Yolanda C. (Maccarone) Zinni

91, of Cranston passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at Elmhurst Extended Care Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel A. Zinni. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Alphonse and Marie (Lanzi) Maccarone. Yolanda was a senior clerk typist for the Division of Taxation, State of Rhode Island. She was a member of the Manton Senior Center, and the Dillon Club. Yolanda along with her late husband, were award winning ballroom dancers. She is survived by her loving daughter, Virginia Angarella of Cranston. Yolanda was the cherished grandmother of Deborah Castelli of Johnston, and the great-grandmother of Briana Pearson of Cranston, and Nicholas and Jason Castelli both of Johnston. She was the sister of the late Joan Loffredo and Frank Maccarone. A Memorial Mass will be held in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
