Alfred J. "Fred" Cairone

60, of Foster, RI, passed away, unexpectedly, Wednesday, September 19, 2018.  A lifelong resident of Rhode Island, he was an avid hunter, fisherman and sports fan.  But the true love of his life was his family, surrounding himself constantly with those he cherished.

A hard-working entrepreneur, he built a successful construction company that has sustained him throughout the years.  He also spent the past 15 years developing his beloved Cairone Farms.

Born on November 13, 1957 in Providence, RI, to the late Alfred Cairone and Mary J. Cairone of Vero Beach, FL, he is survived by his wife Polly Cairone, his children, Heather Pelletier of Coventry, RI, Shannon Wesley of New Orleans, LA, Joshua Cairone of New Bedford, MA,  Jaime Cairone, Althea Cairone and Jordan Fowler, Francis Cairone, Jessica Cairone, Alfred Cairone and Abigail Cairone “The Twins”, all of Foster, RI, Arthur Cairone of West Warwick, RI, and Stephen Cairone of Lincoln, RI and six grand-children, Ben Cairone, Natascha Spitznagel, Aralee Cairone, Paige Cairone, Zoe Washington and Israel Cairone.

He is also survived by his brother Dean Cairone and his wife, Gina of Scituate, RI, and two sisters, Gina DeMarco and her husband Ted, of Smithfield, RI, and Karen Mingain and her husband Mark of Vero Beach, Fl.

He leaves Angela Harwood, TJ DeMarco, Randon Mullins, Jarad DeMarco, Nikayla Brown, and Lyndsey Cairone. And all who loved him.

His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m.  VISITING HOURS: Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: https://www.gofundme.com/xa3uzt4
