Alicia A. Reniere

47, of Coventry, passed away on Tuesday, July 16, 2019.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of Susan L. (Ruscito) Reniere of West Warwick and Donald J. Reniere and his wife Helen of Cranston.

Alicia was the devoted mother of Tess, Will and Alec, all of Coventry.  She was the dear sister of Pamela C. Forant and her husband Sean of Smithfield.

Alicia graduated from Wheelock College with a Bachelor's Degree in Education, earned a Master's Degree in Education from Framingham State College and a CAGS from the University of New England.  She was a Principal for Coventry Public Schools for twelve years.  Alicia was formerly employed as a teacher and Assistant Dean of Times2 Academy/Providence Public Schools and was a CCSS Ambassador and Fellow of Educator Quality for the RI Department of Education (RIDE).

Alicia was a RIDE Common Core Ambassador and a member of RISAP, RI State Literacy Team, Coventry Curriculum Council and Coventry Teacher Evaluation Committee.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4:00-8:00 p.m.  Inurnment will be private.  Kindly omit flowers.  To honor Alicia's love of horses and children, memorial contributions may be made to Camp Care Kids of Columbia, CT www.campcarekids.org.
