Alphonse Pecchia

79, of Coventry, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Theresa L. (Magliocco) Pecchia. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Alfonso and Vincenza (Zabbatta) Pecchia. Alphonse was the owner of the former Cranston Florist for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife Theresa, he is survived by his loving sons, Stephen J. Pecchia and his wife Deana of West Warwick, Gregory A. Pecchia and his wife Lisa of Boynton Beach, FL, and Michael T. Pecchia of Glendale, CA; cherished grandchildren, Talia Angelo and her husband Matthew, Thomas Pecchia, Marissa Pecchia, Cpl. Nicholas Pecchia and Mya Pecchia; dear siblings, Ralph Pecchia, Sr. and Marie Wilson, both of Cranston.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday at 10:00 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Sts. John & Paul Church, 341 South Main St., Coventry. Committal Prayers will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm.
