80 of Cranston passed away Friday, May 27, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the cherished wife of the late Anthony A. Cipriano, Esq. for 53 years. Apart in life for a brief period of time, the family takes comfort in knowing they are together again. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John T. and Sarah A (Conboy) Heelan.
She was a graduate of Johnson & Wales and the University of Rhode Island. After years of devotion to raising her 5 children, she worked for many years at CJCR, DCYF and the City of Cranston.
She was the amazing mother of Anthony A. Cipriano, Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Falls Church, VA, Christopher J. Cipriano of Cranston, Gregory S. Cipriano and his wife Melissa of Midland, TX, Patricia A. Cipriano of Cranston and Karen M. Cipriano-Porto of Cranston; cherished grandmother of Olivia, Emilia, Gregory, Jr. and Isabella; and dear sister of John T. “Jack” Heelan, Jr. of Jamestown and his late wife, Judith L. "Judy" (Stephenson) Heelan.
Her children would like to thank their Mother’s loving caregivers Brenda Cornelio, Rosa Moreno, Angela Chambe, Sandy White and Peggy Grullon for their resilience, dedication and unconditional love and support.
Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Wednesday, June 1st at 9am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston at 10am. Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are Tuesday from 5pm – 7pm.
