Anna D. (DeGeorge) Ricci

of Victoria Court in Cranston, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Ricci.  Born in Johnston, Anna was a daughter of the late Frederick and Lisandrina (Cardillo) DeGeorge.  Mrs. Ricci was a Crossing Guard for the City of Cranston for 40 years, before retiring in the early 2000s. She was active with the Knightsville Library Association and St. Mary’s Feast Society for many years.  Anna was a charter member of the Busy Hands Club.

She is survived by her devoted children, Joseph A. Ricci and his wife Priscilla of Abingdon, MD, Anthony D. Ricci and his wife Linda of Cranston, and David P. Ricci and his wife Laura Kofoid of Chicago, IL.  Anna was the cherished grandmother of Julie Manzi, and Elizabeth, Christopher, Amy, Steven, Simon and C J Ricci and great grandmother of Emily & Charlotte Manzi. She was the sister of the late Michelina LaFazia, Antonio DeGeorge, Mary Vendetti and Josephine McGinty.

Her funeral will be held from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston at 11 a.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4:30-6:30 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer's Association Rhode Island Chapter.
