Anna (Cotoia) Pietropaolo

87, of Cranston passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018. Anna was the beloved wife of the late Americo Joseph Pietropaolo for 56 blessed years. She was born in Providence, the daughter of the late Francesco and Angelina (Manzo) Cotoia. Anna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grammy. She was an avid gardener, continually in awe and appreciation of the wonders of the world. She had a sense of humor that never failed. She always knew how to make the best of a bad situation with laughter and jokes, making us smile and lighting up the room with her uncanny commentary.

A devoted mother to her children Joseph Pietropaolo and Holli of Austin, Texas, and daughter Lorrie Pietropaolo DiRaimo of Cranston. Cherished grandmother of Christopher DiRaimo (her pride and joy), and Kenny Hanner, her beautiful granddaughters Danielle Krupa, Lara Weyman and Stacia Pietropaolo. Cherished great grandmother of Audrey and Emerson Krupa. Sister of the late Frank, Joseph, Anthony, Vito, Armando and Robert Cotoia, Sadie Jarvis, Jenny Ratoon, and Delores Branca.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate her life at a Mass of Christian Burial in St Rocco's Church, Johnston on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 10 am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to RI Blood Center.
