Anne P. (Macedonio) Cottle

of Delray Beach and long-time resident of Narragansett, RI, passed away peacefully on January 14th, 2017.  Born on April 15, 1928, the wife of the late Carl Cottle and daughter of the late Maria Corsetti and Giovanni Macedonio.

She is survived by her brothers Louis Macedonio his wife Joanne, John Larney and his wife Michelle; her sisters Mrs. Evelyn Tedeschi and Mrs. Phylis Altieri. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by her 3 siblings Anthony, Robert, Palma and grandson Calvin Pepe.

She was a devoted wife, Catholic and matriarch. She devoted her life to raising her family while inspiring those around her with her sense of hard work, honesty, responsibility and independence. As a loving mother she proudly supported her children and grandchildren in all of their endeavors. She encouraged her children and grandchildren to be frugal, strong and caring. She was truly an extraordinary woman who will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered.

She leaves 8 grateful children and their spouses, Bob (Jeanne) Cottle, Dennis (Carol) Cottle, Jack (Karen) Cottle, Pamela Cottle, Sharon (Peter) Valliere, Karen (Rob) Engstrume, Anne Marie (Ion) Nazaru, Carl (Sherry) Cottle. She leaves 16 grandchildren Julie Smith, Jason Cottle, Alyssa Cottle, Danielle Cottle, Bonnie Cottle, Jonathan Cottle, Daniel Cottle, Siri Dumont, Brady Valliere, Lindsey Valliere, Alexis Engstrume, Douglas Engstrume, Bryan Pepe, Geoffrey Pepe,Justin Murphy, and Dale Murphy and 16 great grandchildren Simon Smith, Nathan Smith, Truman Smith, Abbi Cottle, Blake Cottle, Cody Cottle, Ty Dumont ,Lauren Dumont, Evan Dumont , Charlie Champlin, Bentley Pepe, Zylan Pepe, Jaden Pepe, Isabella Pepe, Calvin Pepe Soujanen and Sage Pepe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas More Parish, 53 Rockland St., Narragansett, RI on Thursday, January 19th, 2017 at 10 am. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 5-8 p.m. at Nardolillo Funeral Home, SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Rd. (Rt. 1A), Narragansett, RI. She will be laid to rest at RI Veterans Cemetery in Exeter.   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent to Habitat for Humanity or Hogar Emmanuel Orphanage, C/O St. Thomas More Parish in Narragansett.
