Anne M. (Montaquila) Sisti

93, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was the wife of the late Andrew Sisti. They were happily married for 63 years. Anne (Anna to some) enjoyed cooking all of her life, passionate conversation and was an avid card play (especially poker). She was deeply loved by her family and dedicated all of her time to their happiness. One of Anne's great talents was lively conversation and the effortless ability to make others laugh and smile. Anne was always a bright and bold spirit, up for anything on a moment's notice. She will always be remembered for being caring, witty, refreshingly outspoken and having a great sense of humor.

Born in Providence, RI on November 28, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Montaquila and Rose (Cerrito) Montaquila and loving mother to the late Rosemary Bixby. Anne is survived by her loving son Andrew Sisti and his wife Nancy and David Sisti and former daughter-in law, June Drinkwater. She was the cherished grandmother of Joseph Bixby and his wife Beth, Andrea Bixby-Brosi and her husband Glade, Christopher Sisti, Jade Sisti, and her five great-grandchildren Callum Bixby, Enya Bixby, Meadow Brosi, Prairie Brosi and Wendell Brosi.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Saturday morning from 8:00 – 10:00 a.m.
