78, of Cranston, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Monday, July 16, 2018, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of fifty-four years to Carol A. (Paolino) Mastrangelo. Born in Providence, he was the son of Ralph and Mary (Marfisi) Mastrangelo. Anthony was a plumber working out of Union Local #51 for fifty years before his retirement. He was a member of Union Local #51 Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union.  He enjoyed gardening, the beach and was an avid Celtics and Yankee fan. Most of all he enjoyed his family especially his grandchildren.

Besides his wife he is survived by his loving daughters, Karen A. Souza and her husband David of Foster and Kristine M. Angell and her husband Daniel of Cranston. He was the cherished grandfather of Alyssa G. Souza, Daniel J. Angell, Jr., and Katelyn D. Angell. He was the brother of Ann Long of North Carolina and Gloria Sayler of Warwick. He was the loving uncle of Sue Brown of Cranston.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial  on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Inurnment will be in the Mother of Hope Mausoleum in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
