Antonio dos Santos

96, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice of Rhode Island on July 13, 2019. He was the husband of Maria Conceição Santos for 68 years and the son of the late Jose Santos and Francisca Cardoso and brother of the late Manuel Santos. Born in Prados, Celorico da Beira, Portugal he moved to the United States in 1978 to Cranston, RI. He was a member of the Cranston Portuguese Club and a parishioner of St. Matthew’s Church. He is survived by his daughter Emilia Pires and husband Antonio of Cranston, his Son Jose Santos and wife Emilia of Cranston and daughter Natividade Veloso and husband Carlos of Guarda, Portugal.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Debbie Melo and husband Paul, Jason Pires and wife Cindy, Jessica Veloso, Bryan Santos, Jesse Santos, Vanessa Veloso and 5 great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Matthew’s Church, Cranston.  Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
