Bernard Corsetti Obituary

93, of Johnston, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of the late Josephine (Scandariato) Corsetti.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Amato and Maria (Scorpio) Corsetti.

Mr. Corsetti was a superintendent at the former Imperial Knife Company in Providence for many years before retiring. He was a WW-II U.S. Army veteran and an active member of United Commercial Travelers of America (UCT).

He is survived by his loving daughters Debra Hockenhull and her husband Bob of Warwick and Lisa Friesen and her husband Steve of Hilton, NY; and his cherished grandchildren Thomas Hockenhull and his fiancé Laura Dias, William Hockenhull and his wife Jen, Melanie Friesen, Matthew Friesen and his wife Brittney and Jeffery Friesen. He was the dear brother of Lucy Corsetti of Warwick, Gloria Iafrate of Burlington, VT and the late Yolanda Mazzeo, Louis Corsetti, Victoria Rignanese and Mary Boffi.

His funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd at 11:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by burial with military honors at Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  VISITING HOURS are Tuesday MORNING from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
