Bernard "Bernie" Handler Obituary

Bernard J. “Bernie” Handler, 73, of Birch St., Cranston, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Kent Hospital in Warwick. He was the husband of the late Linda A. (Petrucci) Handler. Born in Pawtucket, he was the son of the late Allen D. and Gladys (Bromberg) Handler.

Bernie was an electrical maintenance manager at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence for many years before retiring. He was a mason and member of Doric Lodge; an avid NY Yankee and Providence College basketball fan; and enjoyed playing golf.

He is survived by his daughter Jennifer L. Handler and her husband Andrew S. Chin of Providence and his brother-in-law David R. Petrucci and his companion Kathleen Kaiser of Coventry.

His funeral and burial will be private.
