Beverly Sharpe Johnson

91, of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on September 1, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Howard M. Johnson.

Born in Providence, her parents were the late Joseph F. and Marion (Schofield) Sharpe.  She was the sister of the late Joseph Sharpe and Doris (Sharpe) Heppner.  She is survived by six nieces and nephews.

Beverly started her career in 1940 as an administrative assistant  at Texas Instruments in New York City.  She loved the ocean and her beloved poodle, Saint, and spent several decades in the hospitality industry on Block Island.  After retiring in 2009, she moved to Beechwood Apartments in Narragansett.

Her family is sincerely grateful to and very appreciative of all the close friends who enriched Bev’s life throughout the years.
