Carmella (Bucci) Alviti

formerly of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Scalabrini Villa, North Kingstown. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Pasquale and Rose (DiMuccio) Bucci. Carmella lived for her children, and grandchildren. She loved preparing and sharing her delicious culinary delights with her family and friends. She enjoyed her favorite hobbies of dancing, bowling and cards. Her vibrant personality and humor made her the life of the party. Always loudly cheering her grandchildren from the sidelines. She was the loving mother of Laurie Almeida of Coventry, Paula Massemino of Cranston and Steven Alviti of North Kingstown. Sister of Brenda Sepe of Scituate, Joyce Calitri of FL, Grace Errico of Cranston, Anthony Bucci of Warwick, Pasco Bucci of Cranston, Herbert and Eugene Bucci both of Narragansett and the late Lily Sabatini and Ralph Bucci, 7 grandchildren and 2 great granddaughters. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday at 10:00am in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston Street, Cranston. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.Memorial contributions may be made to: Scalabrini Villa, 860 North Quidnessett Road, North Kingstown, RI 02852.
