Carmella (Culla) Vecchio

92, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Cedar Crest Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Vecchio. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Aurelio and Giuseppina Culla. Carmella worked as an administrative assistant for Brown & Sharpe for many years before retiring. She was also an accomplished seamtress.

Carmella was the sister of the late Frank, Louis and Ralph Culla. She is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins. She was the longtime companion of the late Al Fascitelli. She was also predeceased by her beloved dog Angel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:00am in St. Bartholomew Chuch, 297 Laurel Hill Ave., Providence. ( AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY PLEASE WAY A MASK) Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
