Carol (Tantimonico) Marocco

77, of Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.  She was born in Providence, a daughter of the late Libero and Ann ( Viola) Tantimonico.  
Carol is survived by her loving children  Michael Marocco Jr and his wife Jacqueline of Tiverton, and Brian Marocco of Johnston.  She was also the cherished grandmother of Antonia, and dear sister of Beverly DiLorenzo and Gail Russillo.   Carol was the loving mother of the late Rhonda Lynn Marocco.  

Carol loved the warm weather and summer sunshine.  She loved being at the beach with her family and granddaughter.  She was a beautiful person inside and out. Early on in life she participated and won many beauty pageants, participated in different modeling campaigns, and was Miss RI Universe 1966.  She sang at St Joseph's church for Sunday Mass and special occasions and enjoyed playing the guitar. Carol loved spending time with her family; to include many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, North Scituate.  Burial will be private.  
Her visitation will be held on Tuesday evening 5-7 pm, in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.
