Catherine R. (Mazzarelli) Mignone

96, of Narragansett passed away peacefully on February 20, 2021.  She was the wife of the late Anthony R. Mignone, Sr.

Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (De Nicola) Mazzarelli.

Mrs. Mignone was teacher for the Smithfield and Providence School Departments before retiring.  She was a communicant of St. Thomas More Parish and was a member of the Women’s Club.

She leaves a son, Anthony R. Mignone, Jr. and his wife Shelley; two brothers, Ovidio Mazzarelli and Mario Matteo Mazzarella; a granddaughter, Jaclyn Mignone; and her goddaughter, Joan Shanley.  She was the sister of the late Norbert and Oswaldo Mazzarelli.

The family wishes to thank Erica Petrarca and her two daughters, Harley and Gianna for their heartfelt care during the past eight years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at 9am in St. Veronica Chapel, 1035 Boston Neck Road, Narragansett.  A livestreaming of Mrs. Mignone’s Mass may be found at https://livestream.com/stm/stv-funeral.  Her burial will be private.
