David L. D'Abrosca

76, of Johnston, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, April 15, 2018, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the cherished husband of Linda (Tavarozzi) D’Abrosca. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Luigi “Louis” and Angelina (DelGiudice) D’Abrosca.

David was a truck driver for many years until his retirement. David loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially days at the beach. He was an amazing husband and father, a doting  PaPa and the BEST brother. He leaves his best friend John “My Brotha” Brown, whom he has had a treasured friendship for 28 years and his brother-in-law and buddy Frank Tavarozzi. David loved to fish, spend time with his friends and loved supporting his grandchildren by attending their school and sporting events.  He was passionate about antique cars. Everywhere David went, near or far, he made friends. He was loved and adored by many.

David was the devoted father of David D’Abrosca and his wife Carin of Dover, NH, Melissa D’Abrosca-Feeney and her husband Walter of East Greenwich, and Stacy Santilli and her husband Michael, Sr., of Foster. He was the loving grandfather of Sara, Lauren, Hanna “Double” Nickle” Maguire, Kiara “Key”, Kaylee and Michael, Jr. He was the beloved brother of Linda “Skoodil” Guercia and her husband Albert of Cranston, the late Gino D’Abrosca, Ann D’Abrosca and Barbara Trillo.

Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 19th, from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be private.
