Denise Stephenson Obituary
71, of Pascoag, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at HopeHealth Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. Born in Amityville, NY she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Mae (Bell) Hembach. Denise worked as a registered nurse at RI Hospital. Previously, she worked as an English and Business teacher in the North Smithfield school department for 30 years. Denise was a devoted animal lover and loved the game of hockey. A force to be reckoned with, she made an impact on everyone she met.
Denise is survived by her loving sons, David Stephenson and his wife Stephanie of Warwick, and Daniel Stephenson and his wife Kayla of Pascoag; cherished grandchildren, Gregory and Charlotte Stephenson. She is also survived by her dear sister Linda Lombardo, half-sister Laura McCullough, and step-sisters Donna Hancock and Patrice Poythress.
