Dolores F. (Squizzero) Grande

87, of Cranston, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. Dolores was the beloved wife of Leo Grande for 66 years. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Antonio and Frances (Squizzero) Squizzero. Dolores achieved the RI State and National Honor Society at Cranston High School East for her academic achievements. She was a member of the Vittoria Lodge’s Son’s of Italy, also serving as a trustee.  She was a member of the East Greenwich Yacht Club and wife member of the Elks Lodge 104.

Besides her husband, Leo, she is survived by her three loving children, Gary Grande and his wife Dorothy of Scituate, Dolores Smith and her husband Matthew Insana of Cranston, and Lee Anne Casey and her husband John of Cranston. Dolores was the cherished grandmother of Kayla, Rachel, Daniel, Chris and Emily. She was also the great-grandmother of Michael and Juliana. Dolores was the sister of Doris Pallotta of Cranston, Corrine Ruscito of Cranston, Robert Squizzero of Cranston, Anthony Squizzero of Johnston, William Squizzero of Cranston, Richard Squizzero of Cranston and the late Alba Caporicci and Michael Squizzero.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, June 25th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Alzheimer’s Center, 25 Brayton Avenue, Cranston, RI 02920.
