Domenic J. DeRosa

91, of West Warwick, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Kent Hospital, RI. He was the beloved husband of Irene Ann (Rosati) DeRosa for 52 years. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late John and Marion (Ventriglia) DeRosa.

Domenic was the proud and loving father of Janice Haigh and her husband Mark of South Kingstown. He was predeceased by his late daughter Carla DeRosa. Domenic cherished spending time with his grandchildren, Jacqueline, Colton, and Erika Haigh all of South Kingstown. Brother of Anna Shurtleff and her husband the late Donald of West Warwick. Domenic was the brother in-law of Richard and Janice Moore of Cranston, Robert and Marie Rosati of Palm Beach, FL. He also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews.

Mr. DeRosa attended Brown University nighttime program in draftsmen engineering. Domenic worked at Leesona and had a registered US patent in his name for the company. He also was employed in the engineer department at Hanscom and at BIF as both a draftsman and estimator.

His funeral will be held on Friday, September 30th, at 9:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Immaculate Conception, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 5:00-8:00 p.m.
