Eilene M. (Heron) Young

95, of Warwick, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late William R. Young. Born in Springfield, MA she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (McCarthy) Heron.

Eilene was the loving mother of Albert J. Parenteau, William F. Parenteau, Joseph Parenteau, Eilene Monteiro, Marlene Macaruso, Diane Alba Vandal, Donna Parenteau, Denise Altimari, Shirley Shippee, Carole Manzi, Richard Young, and the late David Parenteau, Sheila Parenteau and William Young, Jr. She is also survived by 34 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren, with one more on the way. Eilene also leaves her beloved dog Frickles “Ricky”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, May 27th at 10:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, Cranston. Burial is private. VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday, May 26th from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.
