Elaine T. (Ventriglia) Scott

86, of Providence, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at Cedar Crest Nursing Home, Cranston. She was the beloved wife of the late Victor Scott. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Rosento and Marie (Valone) Ventriglia. Mrs. Scott was a G.E.D. Proctor for CCRI, Lincoln, for many years before retiring. Elaine loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially for her family. She also liked traveling with her husband.

Elaine is survived by her loving children, Doreen Coleman of Smithfield, Sandra Javery of Johnston, and Dean Scott and his wife Maria of Scituate. She was the cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Adam, Samantha, Michael and Nicole, and great-grandmother of Vanessa, Dylan, Levi, Clyde and Oliver. Elaine was the sister of the late Louise Deveney, Joseph Ventriglia, Linda Ramieri and Joyce Nordberg.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, March 8th, at 10:00, am in Holy Cross Church, Providence. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 6:00-8:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
