Elena L. (DelSesto) Melillo

92, of Hopkinton, passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Riverview Nursing Home, Coventry. She was the beloved wife of the late Frank C. Melillo. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Elizabeth (Ciaramello) DelSesto. Mrs. Melillo was a former employee for Bulova Watch, Calart Flowers and Ferro Novelty.

Elena is survived by her loving children, David D. Melillo and his wife Paulette of West Warwick and Elizabeth A. Pare and her husband Steven of Hope Valley. She was the cherished grandmother of Jessica Anderson and her husband Gregg, Jennifer Anderson and her husband John and Timothy Pare and great-grandmother of Luke Thomas Anderson. She was a sister of Richard DelSesto of Johnston and the late Mary DelSesto, Philomena Ciummo, Ralph DelSesto and Dorothy Giarusso.

Her funeral will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
