Ellen Bedard Obituary
79, of Narragansett, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021.
Born in New Haven, CT, a daughter of the late Arthur V. and Elizabeth A. (Murphy) Larson, she grew up in Stony Creek Branford.
Ellen was an administrative assistant at Yale University prior to retiring.
She loved writing poetry, spending time on Block Island, garden tours in Newport and Southern Rhode Island, boating on Narragansett Bay with her son. Ellen enjoyed dining out, wearing jewelry and regularly attended the orchestra.
She was a proud union member and advocate.
She leaves her son, David M. Bedard of Narragansett, her devoted caregiver and kindred spirit whom she cherished; and a daughter, Michelle Bedard of Colorado; a brother, David Larson; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond Larson, Robert Larson, Arthur Larson and Carol Richardson.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Noon in St. Francis Cemetery, Wakefield.
