Emma B. (D'Antuono) Loux

95, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Grace Barker Nursing Home in Warren.  She was the beloved wife of the late George E. Loux, Jr.  Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (DeCurtis) D’Antuono.

Emma was a professional singer in her younger years then worked for the R.I. Chamber of Commerce and also secretary to the late Governor Joe Garrahy. She also worked for the Providence Journal for several years before retiring.

She is survived by her loving son, George E. Loux III and his wife Maryann; cherished granddaughter Nicole Loux Charos and her husband Nikolas, and great grandchildren Rhea and River Charos; dear brothers John D’Antuono and his wife Elaine, and David D’Antuono.

Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 13th at 12:30 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Burial will be private.  VISITING HOURS will be Friday, April 12th from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.
