Eva Barry Obituary


88, of Cranston, passed away on Sunday, June 10, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late Ronald F. Barry. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Emily (Petronio) Piccione. She was a lifelong resident of Cranston.  Eva  was employed at the State of Rhode Island, Administrative Adjudication Court as a supervisor for years until her retirement.  She was also a member of the St. Mary’s Society. She is survived by her children Mary-Jo Younger of Warwick, RI, Ann Gaulin of Oakdale, CT, grandmother of Pamela Allard of Pawtucket, RI, Jessica Gaulin of Uncasville, CT, George Younger, Jr. of Cranston, RI and Justin Gaulin of Oakdale, CT, great-grandmother of Kaylee, Tyler, Jacob, Cole, Emily and Eva. She was also the sister of the late Anthony “Peachy” Piccione.
Eva was a graduate of Cranston High School.  She loved to vacation in Florida, was an animal lover and also loved to bake.  She was devoted to her late husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  
Her funeral will be held on Thursday at 10 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Mary's Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston .Visiting  hours: Thursday morning  8:30-10 am.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: Alzheimer’s Association, 245 Waterman St. Suite 306, Providence , RI 02906.
