Evelyn Camille (Tavano) Bianco

86, of Warwick and Cranston passed away on November 28, 2022 at St. Elizabeth’s Home in East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard E. Bianco Sr.. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Filomena (Ferrieri) Tavano.

Evelyn graduated Mount Pleasant High School, Providence RI, and then worked at the former Industrial National Bank prior to becoming a full time homemaker raising her family in Warwick RI. After her children were grown she worked in a couple of local pharmacies.

Evelyn was very involved in the community; as a past president of Norwood School PTA, Cub Scouts Den leader and a volunteer at Saint Vincent DePaul Food Bank in Cranston RI. She was a devout parishioner of St Mary’s Church in Cranston and involved in the Cranston Senior Center.

She was married in 1957 to the late Richard Bianco Sr. for 64 years. She was the devoted mother of Richard Bianco, Jr. and his wife Margaret of Saunderstown RI and Elena Bianco of Narragansett RI; loving grandmother of Philip Bianco, Emily Marquardt and Camille Marquardt. She was the sister of the late Robert and Paul Tavano.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave, Cranston on Saturday, December 3rd at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Friday, December 2nd from 4pm - 8pm.
