Frank Murga Obituary

of Cranston, passed away Monday, November 16, 2020 at Cedar Crest Nursing Center in Cranston. Born in New York, NY, he was the devoted son of the late Josephine (Gerci) Murga.

Frank was a production manager at Raytheon Technologies Corporation and was a U.S. Navy veteran and served in the Army National Guard for 20 years. He was a volunteer and teacher at the Cranston Senior Center and also worked part time in the records department at the Cranston Police Department following his retirement.

Frank was the loving father of Kevin Murga (Gaye) of North Carolina, Laura Borges (Steven) of Massachusetts and Bethany Murga of Cranston; cherished grandfather of Adam Murga (Kerri), Paige Borges and the late Cpt. Austin Murga; and loving great-grandfather of Fallon and Josie Murga.

His funeral service and burial with military honors at RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter will be private.
