94, formerly of Cranston and most recently of Narragansett, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023.  She is survived by her loving daughter, Deb Aubin as well as her sister, Beverly LaPolla and brother-in-law, Joseph LaPolla.

Gloria graduated from the University of Rhode Island where she met the love of her life and husband of 63 years, Bob Aubin.  She began her career as a mathematician at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.  Gloria moved back to Rhode Island in 1957 where she spent over 40 years at Cranston High School East, initially as a math teacher and later as a guidance counselor.  She truly enjoyed working with her students and was able to gain their respect with her intelligence and mutual regard.  Gloria was also on the Board of Trustees for the Cranston Municipal Employees Credit Union for several years.
