90, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 6, 2017. He was the beloved husband of the late Carmella (DeRobbio) Hogan. Born in West Warwick, he was a son of the late John and Inez (Egan) Hogan. James was a US Army Air Force Veteran serving during WW II. He was a graduate of Bryant College with a degree in Business Administration. James served on the Johnston School Committee. He was a truck salesman for Beam Truck & Body, Inc. of Woonsocket.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Claire White and her husband David, and Eileen Hobson and her husband Hilton, all of Johnston. He was the cherished grandfather of David White, Christopher White, and James Hobson. James was the brother of the late John “Jack” Hogan.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Friday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Friday morning 9-10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Robert’s Food Shelf, 1804 Atwood Avenue, Johnston, RI 02919.
