Jeffrey J. Chester

42, of Chepachet, passed away on Saturday, April 23rd, 2016, unexpectedly at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Michelle (Marandola) Chester. Born in Providence he was the son of John H. Chester Sr., Ret. Sgt. JPD, and the late Cecile A. (Castillona) Chester. Jeffrey was a 1991 graduate of LaSalle Academy and the holder of a CDL License. Jeffrey was employed as a tractor trailer driver for the Coca Cola company in Providence for over 15 years. His favorite pastimes were hunting with his son Zachary, brother John, and his dad, John Sr., playing golf, and watching the Washington Redskins and the Boston Red Sox, but most of all spending time with his wife and children. His three boys adored him. Besides his loving wife he was the devoted father of Zachary Joseph Chester, Landyn Jefferson Chester, and Owen Jeffrey Chester; loving brother of Cindy Carney and her husband Kurt, John H. Chester Jr. and his wife Melissa; loving uncle of Tyler, Madison, and Kailey. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His funeral will be held on Thursday, April 28th at 10 am from the Nardolillo Funeral Home and Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco's Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston RI at 11 am. Burial will be at Gates of Heaven Cemetery in East Providence. Visiting hours are Wednesday evening, from 4:30 pm to 8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hasbro Children's Hospital, Providence RI.
