Jennie Cotoia Obituary

92, of Tamarac, FL, formerly of North Providence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Antonio Cotoia. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Assunta (Capporella) Martini. Jennie was a Communicant, Eucharistic Minister, and a Catechism Teacher, of St. Anthony’s Church, North Providence.

She was the loving mother of Mary Ann Fraser (William), Louis J. Cotoia (Janice), Anthony Cotoia (Cheryl), Vincent Cotoia (Julie), the late Frank Cotoia and his surviving wife (Barbara), and her late daughter Susan Rossi and her surviving husband Gene Rossi Jr. She was the cherished grandmother of twelve and great grandmother of three. Jennie was the sister of the late Vincent Martini, Joseph Martini, Anthony Martini, Armand Martini, Edward Martini, and Adeline O’Bier.

 Her funeral will be held on Monday, May 2nd, at 9:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Anthony’s Church, 1413 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence, where contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Church, in Jennie Cotoia’s name, at the above church address. VISITING HOURS: Sunday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church Street, Cranston.
