Jennie B. (D’Abrosca) Valletta

92, of West Warwick, passed away on Saturday, November 20, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Thomas J. Valletta Sr. They were married for the past 63 years. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Mattia (Tortorici) D’Abrosca. Jennie worked at Federal Products for many years until her retirement; she  enjoyed crocheting, sewing and arts & crafts and was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph’s Church , West Warwick.  

Besides her husband , she is survived by her loving children: Janice A. Ribeiro and her husband Glenn of Cranston and Thomas J. Valletta, Jr. and his wife Lisa of Coventry; her cherished grandchildren: Dale, Seth and Jena Ribeiro, Thomas III and Caitlyn Valletta and her dear siblings: Anthony D’Abrosca of Coventry, Vincent D’Abrosca of Saunderstown, John D’Abrosca of Warwick, Lucy D’Abrosca of Warwick, Maria D’Abrosca of Coventry, Yola Paolucci of Warwick and Rosalyn Nichols of Warwick, She was also the sister of the late Carmela Corso, Louis D’Abrosca and Rose Thibeault. 

Her visiting hours will be held on Sunday evening from 5-7 pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Her funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday morning at 9 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Joseph’s Church, West Warwick. Burial with committal prayers will take place in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
