Joan Romano Obituary

Joan A. Romano, 82 of Warwick passed away on Saturday September 17, 2022, with her family by her side. Born in Pawtucket she was the daughter of the late William and Bertha (Keion) Stankevich. She was the beloved wife of the late Alfred Romano.

Joan and her husband enjoyed outdoor adventures, everything from boating in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. She enjoyed traveling, and her weekly Hi-Low jack games.

She was the loving mother to her son Paul Romano and wife Elizabeth. She was the beloved godmother of Lauren Gardiner.

Her funeral service will be held Thursday September 22, 2022, at 11:00 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. VISTING HOURS will be just prior to the service from 9:00- 10:00am. Burial will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to RISPCA, 186 Amaral St., Riverside, RI 02915.
